Social media posts from reliable sources surfaced paying tribute to Nompilo, who finally lost her battle to Cystic fibrosis (CF).

The heart-warming story of Nompilo Tengetile Dlamini, who kept the world informed about her complex life journey which required her to appeal for hefty donations for survival, has sadly come to an end.

THE STORY OF LUNG DISEASE SURVIVOR NOMPILO DLAMINI

This after social media posts from reliable sources surfaced paying tribute to Nompilo, who finally lost her battle to Cystic fibrosis (CF), an inherited disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs.

Nompilo, a vlogger on social media but a nursery school teacher in real life in Eswatini (Swaziland), survived of a ventilator, which she carried around, including times she appeared on social media.

Though her content depicted a strong woman full of life, sympathies comforted her, negativity made her stronger, and funds she so desperately sought, gave her another day or chance in life. Nompilo needed funds for a new lung, and the lung transplant was estimated at R2 Million.

SOCIAL MEDIA FLOODED WITH TRIBUTE MESSAGES

Those who subscribed to her channel, have flooded the streets of social media to convey their thoughts and tributes to the fallen warrior.

Philanthropist BI Phakathi said: “I just lost my sister Nompilo, a true warrior. You fought this battle for everyone. I knew you will go someday but I was not ready to take the pain of losing you. Well done my sister you did it and won our hearts”.

Thembisile Q said: “Deepest condolences to Nompilo’s family and friends. God decided to take Nompilo because she had suffered enough. Not only with her illness but she endured severe cyber bullying from this app. May her soul rest in peace and I hope the people who wished for her death are happy now. Their wish has been granted”.

Joy Zelda said: “This is a Cassper Nyovest Appreciation Tweet. He was the only musician who donated R150k to Nompilo Dlamini and helped her raise 2 million to go to India to get a new lung Transplant, Hate him or Love him this guy has a heart of gold We need many like him”.
