Murder accused, Andy Kerr, reconsiders bail application
Former radio host And Kerr, initially claimed his mother died of natural causes and remained with her body for three days

Social media influencer and former radio presenter Andy Kerr has has backtracked on a previous decision told the court his wish to apply for bail.
Kerr is currently behind bars and stands accused of murdering his mother.
A MOTHER’S MURDER

His 72-year-old mother’s body, was discovered by private security Reaction Unit South Africa(RUSA) paramedics after a tip-off from concerned residents.
Kerr and his mother Dawn lived in communal housing in Hazelmere where the residents complained of a foul smell coming from their room.
According to RUSA, the 32-year-old kept his mother body for three days before it was discovered.
After providing varying accounts on his mothers death, including claims she has died of natural causes, Kerr made a confession.

“Kerr confirmed during an interview with Police and Reaction Officers that he pushed his mother while bathing her. She fell and sustained head injuries which may have resulted in her demise.”
His case has been postponed till 28 February for bail consideration.
