Marlon Wayans says White Chicks 2 might still happen in the future if everything goes according to plan.

The 51-year-old comedian and actor touched on the potential sequel to the latest episode of “Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN.

White Chicks has become a cult classic from the 2000s, with many quotable lines and memorable scenes which include Terry Crews.

“If we do White Chicks, it gotta be me and Shawn… we’ll see. I don’t throw that into the universe because I don’t control it. But I would do a White Chicks 2. I think that, and I would return to the Scary Movie franchise,” Marlon said.

In White Chicks, Marlon and his brother Shawn Wayans portrayed agents named Marcus and Kevin Copeland who disguised themselves as a rich socialites named Brittany and Tiffany Wilson.

The film was released in 2004 and went on to gross $113 million from a budget of $37 million, making it a commercial success

Five years ago, co-star Terry Crews announced that White Chicks 2 was finally happening

“You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like, ‘Man, we doing it, we getting it going,'” Crews shared.

Wayans however downplayed Crews’ statement, saying nothing had materialised yet.

Marlon’s career took off in the 90s as he starred alongside his brother Shawn in a sitcom “The Wayans Bros..” 

Since then he went on to star in a number of films including Scary Movie, Litte Man and White Chicks. His latest movies are the Haunted House, Fifty Shades of Black, and Naked.

In February, Marlon was the guest host of The Daily Show
