Manhunt launched for the corpse and grave violated in Thabong
Police in Thabong found a grave and corpse violated, it was discovered that the deceased woman’s head and right arm were gone.

At Phumlane Graveyard in Thabong, someone walking by noticed that a grave had been broken into, and the Thabong Police Station was immediately notified.
A bread knife and a portion of the coffin that covers the head were discovered right next to the grave when the SAPS officers arrived on the site.

The family received assistance in submitting an application for the exhumation of the body, and a case of grave breach was lodged for further investigation.
When the body was brought to Welkom Forensic Pathology Services, it was determined that the deceased woman’s head and a case of grave breach was lodged for further investigation.
