President of the EFF, Julius Malema, responded to remarks made by the president of the Africa National Congress Youth League, Collen Malatji.

Malema and Malatji’s ongoing beef

Malema clapped back at the statement made by Malatji about him.

According to IOL Malema said that Malatji is struggling to lead a ‘dead’ Youth League while he is trying so hard to be desperately relevant.

Malema says he knows that he is Malatji’s role model and warned the ANCYL president to not be envious.

Malema clapped back at the ANCYL president after he attacked the EFF party earlier this year.

IOL reported that Malatji had initially called the parties “Mickey Mouse organisations that are taking advantage of people.”

Malatji’s attack to the EFF party

Earlier this year, Malatji made remarks that the EFF party is a “Mickey Mouse organisation.”

He initially said: “We know after we have resolved these issues, these Mickey Mouse organisations led by criminals will not have voters because people will know it’s only the ANC that will resolve their problems.

“Everyone who’s a criminal and kicked out of the ANC, when they’re bored with their wives, children and families, the first thing they think of is to form a political party, go to Parliament and reverse the gains of freedom.”

Malatji accused Malema of being undisciplined and trying to transform the Youth League he led into a cult.

According to IOL Malatji also said that Malema has been lying about why he was expelled from the party.

He stated that Malema was dismissed from the ANC solely due to his lack of discipline and violations of the ANC constitution.

Malema was expelled for the party in 2012 for bringing the party into disrepute after making comments about another country which was against ANC policies.

According to Malatji, EFF members do not have a say in organisational processes. He said only Malema calls the shots while the educated members of the party ran around with water everywhere.
