‘Lost’ Kempton Park pink Elephant FOUND

Some say it must be completely removed in Kempton Park and taken back to its natural habitat where it will be ‘safe’.

Norkem Park, a suburb in northern Kempton Park in Ekurhuleni has been unorthodox for a while after its famous landmark, the pink elephant went missing.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KEMPTON PARK ELEPHANT

The pink elephant mysteriously went missing without a trace and those from the Kempton Park suburb were quick to notice the freakish sighting.

“How did it come down from the top of that bottle store(opposite flame grill)?” asked Nkosinamandla Shobede.

Vuyo Hip replied, “It can’t be, the elephant is from flames near Norkem Park just before Kempton Park”.

UPDATE ON THE MISSING LANDMARK

Nevertheless, concerned residents took to social media to put a notice for the missing landmark, however, it was not long until it was discovered standing in the middle of a traffic circle elsewhere.

The Greenstone Hill Community on Facebook alerted the community about the discovery.

LOCALS REACT TO THE MISSING ANIMAL STATUE

Hordes of people have reacted to the missing elephant, here’s what they said:

Charmaine Myburgh said, “And just on Friday I was thinking in my younger days when we went out partying that elephant wouldn’t have been safe..lol”

Anelle Petticoat Deetlefs said, “2 types of people in South Africa…Those who say they will take you to see an elephant and you see a real one… and those who take you to a bottle store and you see this elephant… Everybody knows where this elephant should be… Put the poor thing back in its natural habitat”.

June Brighton said, “This elephant is from the bottle store opposite Flame in Kempton Park”.

Romeo X said, “The oldest elephant I know”.

Mariaan Mellett said: “I think it was in the mood for a change of scenery”.
