VIRAL GRAPHIC PICTURES SHOW LESEDI FM ANCHOR’S HORRIFIC INJURIES

Initial reports form Free State police regarding the incident reveal, the Lesedi FM anchor was found by a search party made up of her friends and community members from an informal settlement known as Dinaweng and taken to Pelonomi Hospital, which is a public health care facility for medical attention last week. It’s alleged she was later transferred to a private hospital – this hasn’t been confirmed.

It is unknown when exactly the pictures of the badly stabbed Lesedi FM anchor taken, however details of the leak will be unveiled once the investigation has been concluded.

The Health Department Spokesperson, Mondli Mvambi says Ratselane’s wounds may heal over time, the pictures of her in that vulnerable state will forever be online, a constant reminder of that traumatic period for both her and her children.

“It is unimaginable what these pictures may do to here and the dignity of her children. As we know, our Medical Professionals may do wonders to reconstruct her seriously injured limb, but these photos will remain in the unguarded and uncontrolled public space and may cause further harm in her future attempts to regain her violated dignity. We send our well wishes to Dimakatso Ratselane and pray for her speedy recovery. We are with her children, family, colleagues and every member of our society who is affected by this atrocious act”

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are amongst those that have publicly condemned the attack on Ratselane and called on the government to deal with gender-based violence more decisively.
