Authorities are desperately trying to find a father from Pinetown, KZN after a grim discovery was made at a property in New Germany. The bodies of four children – with the youngest aged four – were discovered by SAPS, all of whom had been killed by the process of hanging.

KZN hangings: Police search for father after New Germany slaughter
The bodies were found shortly after 14:30 on Tuesday afternoon, with the police issuing a statement on this heinous crime later on in the evening. They revealed that the father had deliberately taken his children out of school in the middle of the day, and his teenage daughter was killed some time afterwards:
“The body of three children – aged four, six and 10 – were found hanging in their home. The children had been fetched home from school earlier in the day. Furthermore, the 16-year-old girl was also last seen with her father on Tuesday. Her body was found hanging in the bushes in New Germany. A murder case has been opened”.

Ayakha Jiyane case ends in tragedy
It’s understood that Ayakha Jiyane – the 16-year-old victim – was reported kidnapped on Tuesday afternoon. It’s alleged that she was forced into a vehicle outside of Pinetown Girls High against her will and that was the last reported sighting of the teenager.
Although the father has not been confirmed as their killer, the authorities are treating the man as their prime suspect. The tragic circumstances leading up to this incident are the source of intense investigation, and SAPS are attempting to establish what happened in those final few hours following their withdrawal from school.
