Kazier Chiefs Fire Molefi Ntseki

Molefi Ntseki and Kaizer Chiefs have mutually agreed to part ways, as announced on the club’s website on Monday afternoon.

Following the decision of Kaizer Chiefs axing Ntseki, Cavin Johnson has been appointed as the interim head coach, with Dillion Shepard joining as his assistant.

Assistant Coach, Arthur Zwane will return to his former role within the development structures of the Club.

The announcement came after Kaizer Chiefs suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu FC in the Carling Knockout Cup.

The loss only intensified the frustration of Amakhosi fans, who expressed their unhappiness by pelting objects at the head coach after the match.

Falling Short: Ntseki’s Struggles at Kaizer Chiefs

Ntseki’s tenure at Kaizer Chiefs has been fraught with challenges since his arrival in June 2023. Currently sitting in 8th position in the DSTV Premiership and having been eliminated from two major tournaments, namely the MTN 8 and The Carling Knockout Cup, it is fair to say that Ntseki has not lived up to expectations.

One of the main concerns for the Kaizer Chiefs faithful is the team’s inconsistency in terms of positive results.

It seems that the team has struggled to find their rhythm and maintain a winning streak. This inconsistency has left fans frustrated and eager for change.

Cavin Johnson Takes the Reins as Interim Head Coach
