Family and beneficiaries of the South African Social Security Agency(SASSA) disability grant can expect to have their money reflect in their accounts today.
SASSA’S STAGGERED PAYMENT DATES

The agency has continued with it its staggered approach to payments, which it adopted during the Covid pandemic to help ease congestions at payout points.
Therefore as is now the nor, the elderly/pension were the first to receive their grant on Thursday, 2 November.
Parents who receive child grants can expect to have their money paid out on Monday, 6 November.

WITHDRAWING AT RETAILERS
Postbank has reiterated that retailers are not allowed to force grant beneficiaries including those receiving SRD R350 to make purchases in store, in order to receive their money.

“SASSA beneficiaries are advised to report any retailer or shop that forces them to buy goods prior to paying out their SASSA grants” says Postbank spokesperson, Bongani Diako.
Diako has also assured beneficiaries with the gold cards that they will not expire and they shall continue working past 31 December.
