Devon Hofmeyr, Willem Petzer, Tewie Wessels, and Francois van der Merwe appeared in court on Monday and were GRANTED BAIL.

HOFMEYR AND THREE OTHERS WERE GRANTED BAIL

The four are facing charges related to incitement to public violence.

The court then released them on bail of R5 000 each.

The four men hugged each other in court after the verdict and prayed together in a circle.

THEY WERE GRANTED BAIL OF R5 000 EACH

The charges against them are related to the events of about two weeks ago outside the magistrate’s court in the town when Piet Groenewald (63) and his stepson Stephan Greeff (27) appeared in court in a separate case.

Groenewald and Greeff are accused of assaulting a worker and allegedly unleashing a security dog ​​on him.

THE FOUR ARE CHARGED WITH INCITEMENT TO PUBLIC VIOLENCE

After the charges against them became reversible, Petzer, Wessels, and Hofmeyr turned themselves in to the police when they were asked to do so. They have been in custody since then.
