Goodbye blue bird… Elon Musk rebrands Twitter as X

X? Don’t worry you’re not on the wrong app. Elon Musk continues with his rebranding strategic and sweeping changes since buying Twitter.

See any changes to your Twitter today??South African born multi billionaire and Twitter owner Elon Musk has decided to rebrand the company and has done away with the iconic blue bird with X.

The rebranding one of few major changes Musk has made since acquiring Twitter for $44 billion in October 2022. After his purchase, a mass layoff followed with the remaining staff told to expect working long hours with high intensity. 

The new logo is a white X on a black background.

Musk has been hinting at changes coming to the social media network. With one tweet saying “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and gradually all the birds”.

MUSK MOVES TO MAKE ‘X’ AN ALL IN ONE APP

Musk in April changed the name of the company from Twitter Inc. to X Corp.

When typing in X.com, users will be redirected to Twitter. X.com used to be a financial company owned by Musk until it emerged with Confinity in 2000 to form PayPal.
