Former Kaizer Chiefs striker argues that coach Cavin Johnson thinks he owns the club because he is too relaxed.

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker Mike Rapatsa blasts coach Cavin Johnson, saying he is too relaxed and casual as if he owns the club.

Chiefs still rue their Nedbank Cup loss against Milford FC and the ex-striker says the coach’s bad attitude rubs off to the players.

Rapatsa also looks at the differences between Johnson and Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena, saying the Masandawana boss is helping his troops.

As things stand, Chiefs and Johnson only have the DStv Premiership to fight for but they are seemingly out of the title race.

An unhappy former striker, Rapatsa says Johnson behaves as if he will get something from the Chiefs management.

FORMER CHIEFS HITMAN BLASTS A RELAXED JOHNSON

With Chiefs set to finish its embarrassing ninth year without a trophy, Johnson will now look to do better in the league.

“He is so casual as if he owns Kaizer Chiefs,” ex-Chiefs striker Rapatsa tells FARPost.

“I have never seen a coach who is not under pressure to perform like I see Cavin Johnson.

“It’s like he is being guaranteed something by the management.

“Every coach would be under pressure to perform by now.

“If the results are not forthcoming, you should be trembling.

“I mean is like there is a guarantee no matter what happens that he is there to stay.”

WHY MOKWENA IS MUCH BETTER THAN JOHNSON

The former goal poacher adds that the 37-year-old Mokwena is much better than Johnson whose attitude is just bad.

“But the same attitude rubs off on the players. If you look at the coach he is so casual,” adds the ex-Chiefs striker on Johnson who is relaxed.

“If you look at the players they don’t care.

“Let me be brutally honest with you. Cavin Johnson is not a coach.

“If we compare Johnson and Rulani Mokwena of Sundowns, who is doing his Job? It’s Mokwena.

“He is helping his players to get into scoring positions and doing so as a team.

“But I don’t see Cavin Johnson working hard.

“He had the whole time during the Afcon to prepare the team.

“Mind you, he said he doesn’t want to reinforce.”
