The power utility suspended rolling blackouts earlier this week citing improved generation capacity.
In a brief statement on Sunday, 17 December, Eskom said due to consistent improvement in available generating capacity, loadshedding will remain suspended until 16:00 on Friday, 22 December.
“Eskom will closely monitor the power system and communicate should any significant changes occur,” the power utility said.
