South Africa recorded 4 100 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has said on Thursday.
This brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 3 594 499.
This increase of 4 100 new COVID-19 cases represents a 10.5% positivity rate.
A further 160 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 94 651 to date.
“The cumulative number of recoveries is 3 432 829.”
