Commercial Manager

An international manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic, driven individual that will form part of the Finance team. This position works hand in hand with the operations director, and has a key focus to drive the profit margins. As a partner with the local Commercial Director this role will plan and manage all forecasting.

Location :  Gauteng
Remuneration :  R 620 000 – R700 000

Duties :
Provide commercial and advisory support to PS in negotiations with vendors.
Planning and co-ordination of the annual budget culminating in the local entity budget pack for key stakeholder.
Own the accuracy of the product category/brand reporting.
Maintain appropriate Essbase reporting models.
Develop and maintain financial models to assess business projects and track performance vs. original assumptions and committed objectives.

Requirements
– Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.

– Thorough knowledge of financial reporting and experience in interpreting accounting and finance-related projects.
– CIMA with 6 years relevant experience
