Cape Town will host the second tournament of the HSBC Sevens Series (SVNS) season on the weekend of 9 and 10 December and these are the road closures to look out for.
The HSBC SVNS Festival, eagerly awaited, expects 50 000 attendees daily at DHL Stadium for an immersive experience beyond rugby.
This revamped festival combines sports, music, and food, according to IOL News.

Drivers are cautioned about road closures in the Green Point and V&A Waterfront precincts from 6 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Affected roads include Hans Strijdom Ave, Helen Suzman Blvd (Buitengracht Street South to North Lane), and Green Point Circle areas.
For ticket-holders’ convenience, a recommended park-and-ride system aims to streamline traffic.

Paid parking is available at CTICC, Ryk Tulbagh Square, Picbel Parkade, Plein Park, and V&A Waterfront. There is limited parking at the V&A Waterfront.
An e-hailing service hub will be at P13 off Green Point Main Road (York and Wigtown roads) for additional convenience.
To ease congestion, the City of Cape Town offers a free MyCiTi shuttle service for ticket holders from key locations.

Shuttles depart from Civic Centre, CTICC, and Thibault Square MyCiTi stations starting at 7.30 am on both event days, running on demand.
