Planned POWER OUTAGE in these Johannesburg areas

City Power has announced a scheduled essential power outage for maintenance, that will affect certain areas in Johannesburg.

City Power has issued an important notice to customers regarding a planned power outage at the Grand Central substation scheduled for Sunday, 19 November 2023.

This outage is set to occur from 8:00 to 16:00 and will impact various suburbs.

  • African Bank
  • Airport
  • All Halfway House Extensions
  • Auto Bavaria
  • Ethor Johnson
  • Gallagher Estates

The temporary outage is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work on the power network. Aligning with City Power’s commitment to consistently enhance service delivery.
