Limpopo policewoman who raped son on video to hear bail fate on Tuesday
The victim remains in a place of safety. IPID’s application to remove the child from his family was granted on 13 February.

A 40-year-old Limpopo policewoman attached to the Groblersdal SAPS faces charges of child rape after a video of the act went viral on social media earlier this year. The accused applied for bail, and the judgement will be handed down next week.
LIMPOPO POLICEWOMAN ACCUSED OF CHILD RAPE
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is tasked with investigating the incident and opposed the accused’s bail application.
IPID spokesperson Lizzy Suping reiterated that the Limpopo policewoman is charged with raping and sexually grooming her son.
The bail judgement will be handed down on Tuesday, 7 March, in the Vaalbank Magistrate’s Court in Mpumalanga.
The accused remains in custody at the Dennilton police station.
“The boy child is kept at a safe place after IPID’s application to remove the child from the family home was granted by the Groblersdal Children’s Court on 13 Feb 2023,” said Suping.
