Theewaterskloof dam – situated about 90 minutes outside of Cape Town – is the largest facility of its kind in the Western Cape. It became the poster child for the Mother City’s day zero crisis back in 2017, but thanks to a series of wet winters and heavy downpours, the reservoir has filled up to the point of capacity.
