South African socialite-turned-reality TV star Faith Nketsi confirmed that she and her husband, controversial businessman Nzuzo Njilo have decided to split as seen in her statement released on Instagram on Thursday, 30 November.
‘DECIDED TO GO OUR SEPARATE WAYS’: FAITH NKETSI AND NZUZO NJILO HEAD FOR DIVORCE
The once-happy couple, Faith Nkesti and Nzuzo Njilo tied the knot on 10 April 2022, in a dreamy wedding ceremony. They soon welcomed their daughter, Sky, who recently turned one earlier this month. However, the fairytale was shortlived as the small-figured socialite announced that her marriage is at its final stages
“It’s with sadness that I have to announce that Nzuzo Njilo and I are in the final stages of our divorce proceeding,” she said in a statement.

“No one gets married with the intention to get divorced. However, through careful consideration and mediation, we have decided to go our separate ways. Nzuzo Njilo continues to be an amazing father to our beautiful daughter, whom we are co-parenting,” she added in the statement.

In recent months, Faith Nketi’s marriage has topped the social media trends list with claims that she has allegedly cheated on Nzuzo Njilo. Previously, an Instagram page The Popcorn Room shared “receipts” of the gorgeous reality TV star allegedly being spotted with another man at Sumo Nightclub in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, Nzuzo is said to be dodging ABSA bank, Sunday World reported. According to Briefly, earlier this month, Njilo was allegedly arrested for scamming a businessman over R1 million. The publication adds that he is still not off the radar as he has recently trended after a new fraud scandal worth R20 million came to light.
“As a public figure, I understand that my life is a matter of public interest, however, at this sensitive time, I would appreciate some privacy,” Nketsi’s statement concluded.
