The City of Tshwane is grappling with severe water supply issues. Particularly in Soshanguve, coupled with an unprecedented outage in Mabopane.
The disruption stems from extensive damage to existing pipelines, exacerbated by illegal connections and complications with pipeline contractors.

Swift action is being taken to rectify the problem
Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, city officials assure residents that swift action is being taken to rectify the problem. The primary focus is on repairing the damaged water pipes, with the regional team already making substantial progress in these efforts.
“One of the prominent issues compounding the situation is the high demand I the region, mainly from illegal connections,” said City of Tshwane.
