There are also more questions than answers surrounding exactly how the victims died, but the reports suggests the patrons may have been exposed to some form of poison or an incident which may have led to them being injured and killed in a stampede. According to Dispatch Live, the victims lifeless bodies are scattered across the East London tavern: on tables, chairs and floor without any visible injuries to explain what could have possibly happened to them.

The publication further reports that frustrated and frantic parents and other family members have been begging law enforcement agencies to enter the club’s premises while calling out the names of their missing loved ones, but none of them are responding.

The South African has reached out to the SAPS in the Eastern Cape for comment on the matter, but to no avail. This article will be updated once more information is given on the incident.
