Moroka Swallows star midfielder Andile Jali is topping trends after his throwback photo made rounds on social media.

The now-viral photo has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on Instagram.

ANDILE JALI’S OLD PHOTO MELTS HEARTS

Taking it to Instagram stories, the Moroka Swallows star shared an old photo during his early career. Undoubtedly, he has quickly become one of the most celebrated stars in the DStv Premier League.

Many were more than convinced that he had a rags-to-riches story to tell. However, little was known about when the photo was taken. The now-viral photo has since thrust the Moroka Swallows star into the top trends.

Andile Jali started his youth career with Hot Spurs from 2002 to 2005. He later joined Matatiele Professionals in 2006 before joining Pretoria University in 2007.

He joined the Orlando Pirates in 2009 and left the Soweto giants in 2014. Against his newfound fame, he joined Belgian side K.V Oostende.

After a colourful stint in the Belgian Pro League, he joined Mamelodi Sundowns. Andile Jali joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2018 and left in 2022. However, his transfer move to Moroka Swallows hogged headlines. He undoubtedly kept his transfer move under wraps, leaving many to guess.

ACCOLADES

Andile Jali lifted his first silverware with Orlando Pirates during the 2010/2011 season. Jali won the DStv Premier League in the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons.

During the same season campaigns, he also won the Nedbank Cup and Telkom Knockout 2011. However, he also managed to lift the MTN8 in 2010 and 2011.

With Pirates, Jali also managed to lift the Carling Black Label Cup in 2011 and 2012. With Mamelodi Sundowns, he won four Premier League titles, two Nedbank Cups, a Telkom Knockout Cup, and an MTN8 cup.
