Seven reasons why Jacob Zuma WILL NOT vote ANC

Former president Jacob Zuma has accused the ANC of remaining quiet on pressing matters including the ‘sale’ of the party president position

Disgruntled former African National Congress(ANC) President Jacob Zuma says much of his distrust of the ruling party, is that the current Cyril Ramaphosa lead ANC is a ‘proxy to White Monopoly Capital’.

ZUMA REMAINS A MEMBER OF THE ANC

The former president made the announcement during his Address tto the Nation in Soweto on Saturday, where he publicly expressed his support for Mkhonto WeSizwe Party for the 2024 elections.

Despite showing support from the MK Party and not casting a vote for the ruling party, Zuma says he remains a member of the ANC.

“I have always been ready to serve the ANC at any level and my track record reflects that. I truly believe in the mandate of the ANC and I will continue to serve my organisation. I will die a member of the ANC” says Zuma.

ANC SILENCE

Zuma says the party kept quiet when Ramaphosa’s powers were clipped when it came to appointing a chairperson for the Commission in to State Capture.

“This symbolised an opportunistic amendment of the Constitution of South Africa.”

CR17 ELECTION CAMPAIGN

The 81 year old says he finds issue in the funding for Ramaphosa 2017 election campaign and has accused the president of purchasing the leadership position.

“The position of President had been stolen or bought by forces outside of the organisation for an amount ranging between the R300million, which the President admitted under oath, and the estimated R1billion or more, found by the Public Protector in her BOSASA report in which Ramaphosa was fingered.”

ANC CORRUPTION

Zuma says the party failed to speak up when Ramaphosa said ‘The ANC is accused number one for corruption in South Africa’.

“The ANC expelled its Secretary-General using the selective application of the so-called step-aside rule but will now allow the President who is also facing criminal charges to top its list for the next election.

JULY UNREST

The former president says the party stood idle during the 2021 July unrest. An event he says was avoidable and unfortunately claimed around 400 lives.

IMPEACHMENT

Zuma says the party is against black intellectuals after the ANC voted for the impeachment of Judge John Hlophe and Judge Nkola Motata- a first in the country. As well as voting in favour of axing former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

LOADSHEDDING

According to Zuma, load shedding could have been avoided by keeping best management at Eskom and adopting nuclear energy years ago.
