Amanda Manku, a native of Newlands in Johannesburg, was born on August 9, 1991. Growing up in Gauteng, her early years were shaped by her family life. At age five, she experienced her parents’ remarriage and was raised alongside her five siblings, although further details about them aren’t widely known.

Her educational journey began at Dowling Avenue Primary School in Westbury, where her dedication earned her an accomplishment certificate in fifth grade, sparking her motivation to excel. Amanda has also been linked to football star Hendrick Ekstein, with whom she has a child.

However, controversies surrounded Amanda. In 2017, Times Live reported about her involvement with another footballer named Kabelo Mahlasela purportedly while she was still in a relationship with Hendrick Ekstein.

Addressing the gossip, Amanda clarified that she never met Kabelo Mahlasela and remained devoted to her relationship with Hendrick Ekstein. She stressed that they were still together.
