According to the JacarandaFM website, in the video taken from a car behind the driver, as the vehicle approaches an e-toll, a black cover rolls down over the number plate, covering it entirely.

Social activist and ‘Crime Watch’ presenter Yusuf Abramjee shared the video on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, earlier this week.

Those driving in the car behind filming the ‘trick’ couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

As far as social media goes, some users applauded the driver for their resourceful and out-of-the-box thinking.
