Many people think of the McLaren F1, but since then the brand has gone on to produce mega supercars. We have two for a British supercar drag race.

If you’re wondering why we’re making a fuss over McLaren, it’s because they build some of the fastest cars on the planet.
The 750S is the brand’s flagship supercar and is the successor to the 720S. According to McLaren it is their lightest and most powerful series-production car.
It uses a biturbo 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine now makes 550kW and 800Nm. It uses a seven-speed gearbox with revised ratios.
Its performance figures are out of this world. The British carmaker says it’ll reach 100km/h from standstill in 2.8 seconds and 200km/h from rest in 7.2 seconds.
The blistering performance is helped by its kerb weight of 1389kg. Its predecessor the 720S tips the scale at 1419kg. The 720S only has 530kW compared to the newer car.
