The 2023 Porsche Cayenne is now cleaner, more powerful and debuts a host of styling upgrades plus a tweaked suspension on the newer model.

The 2023 Porsche Cayenne has finally broken cover after the Stuttgart-based carmaker showed off the SUV’s new interior recently.

Fans of the largest SUV from the sports car brand can welcome the 2023 Porsche Cayenne in all its glory with upgraded engines, tweaked suspension and a heavily-revised interior.

The 2023 Porsche Cayenne features upgraded engines, with the Turbo GT boasting 485kW

On the engine front, the new Cayenne debuts with three different engine versions, according to Porsche Newsroom.

A new 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine replaces the previous V6 engine in the new Cayenne S with 349kW and 600Nm. That’s an increase of 25kW and 50Nm more than its predecessor. Porsche claims the SUV and the SUV Coupé can reach 100km/h from standstill in 4.7 seconds.

The Cayenne E-Hybrid has a new electric motor and now sports 30kW more to 130kW. The total output is 346kW and the electric range has increased to 90km

The top of the range Turbo GT has seen its 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine breathed on to an increase of 14kW to 485kW, according to Top Gear.

A new option available is the 10.9-inch display for the first time on the passenger side

First seen in the Taycan, Porsche has given the Cayenne a completely revised display and control concept.

Porsche’s interior designers have changed the cockpit to include a fully-digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster with a curved and free-standing design.

Customers now have access to three new colours and lightweight sports packages saving up to 33 kilograms for the Coupé model. There’s a new range of 20, 21, and 22-inch wheels to choose from too for the 2023 Porsche Cayenne too.

Porsche says ride comfort is superior on the base model than before thanks to a steel spring suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard.

Porsche says the new adaptive air suspension with 2-chamber, 2-valve technology and reckons it improves the driving experience with a soft suspension characteristic. It also stabilises the vehicle and simplifies on-road and off-road handling – compared to both the standard suspension and the predecessor model.
