That’s right, South Africa’s own Mzansi Youth Choir has captivated the world making it through to the AGT finale, winning praise around the world and reuniting our fragile nation in the process.

In their audition they made infamously hard-edged judge Simon Cowell cry with their rendition of Nightbirde’s song ‘It’s OK’. The song touched everyone in the auditorium, who collectively awarded them the Golden Buzzer award. The song was so moving because the artist had passed away recently from cancer. After that seemingly untoppable performance, the South African choir sang a beautiful rendition of “Everywhere” by Fleetwood Mac in the next round.
