According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), damning winds are expected for parts of the Western Cape.

Residents and visitors have been cautioned against extreme wind conditions, which could see winds increase to potentially dangerous levels – and it could cause considerable damage over the next couple of days.

When confronted with a storm, residents and visitors are advised to use extreme caution when traveling – and even if you are at home, make sure that you’re aware of the potential danger associated with wind.
