Piers Morgan is known as a man of controversy, with a long history of taking fire for his comments about mainstream issues – including his thoughts on the Oscar Pistorius trial.

While his recent comments about Cricket South Africa (CSA) have gotten him into trouble with some Mzansi citizens, it’s not the first time this has happened. Piers has also had South Africans puzzled about his thoughts on the Pistorius trial from a previous interview.

Piers Morgan under fire about CSA comments

According to news reported by The South African website, journalist and presenter Morgan has come under fire for his comments relating to Cricket South Africa.

Mzansi citizens criticized the announcer for his stance on CSA’s firing, which Piers has said has an element of discrimination.

This isn’t the first time Piers Morgan has been criticized for his comments.

A prior interview has his thoughts on the Oscar Pistorius trial, which became one of the most widely-seen court trials in South Africa.

Who is Piers Morgan?

Piers is the host of his own show, but also has a long history in written and broadcast journalism.

His career started in 1988, writing for several UK-based tabloids and eventually becoming the editor of the Daily Mail UK.

Since then, he’s had several run-ins after comments that UK-media watchdogs found inappropriate (or distasteful).
