WOMAN: ‘I DIDN’T BUY GROCERIES FOR TWO YEARS’

NYPost reports that a woman named Vivian Tu revealed on her TikTok @YourRichBFF that she went on six dates a week to avoid paying for groceries.

“I went on 6 dates a week and didn’t have to buy groceries for 2 years,” adds the outlet.

“Between 2016-2018 I didn’t buy groceries once. Probably saved about $150 (R2813) a week,” she captioned her post.

She also admitted in an interview with Elite Daily that she “jokingly” made the controversial video and “didn’t start going on dates just for food.”

She only noticed later on that there was an ease with her finances when she went on dates, while seeking love.

Though she now knows that there are better money savings strategies, she doesn’t regret her dates, even the occasional cheapskates that asked to split the bill.

SOCIAL MEDIA REACTS TO WOMAN’S 624 DATES

@Agrumpycomedian: “Good to see that she gave herself a holiday on Sunday, self-love and acknowledgement is [sic] mandatory.”

@justredpillme: “And people wonder why guys want to go Dutch on first dates.”

@enslaved1s: “Food dates are the worst first dates. When I dated, I only did drink first dates usually coffee. If we don’t vibe, we don’t have to waste a bunch of time waiting for food. Also paying for someone’s drink isn’t that big of a deal. No expectations.”

@AngelaLark66613: “Women, stop using men as meal tickets! They don’t need to feed your lazy fat butts and they don’t owe you a thing!”
