Toy Story 4 is coming – here’s the trailer [video]

The fourth instalment of everyone’s childhood favourite is coming up, with Toy Story 4 coming to our screens this year.

Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy Story gang embark on another journey in their mission to bring smiles to the faces of not only the little people of the world, but also adults.

It’s been nine years since Toy Story 3, where Woody and the gang left Andy and now, they promise to bring life to a young girl named Bonnie.

Toy Story has been lighting up kids’ world for 24 years and the trailer of Toy Story 4 shows that this instalment will be no different.

It brings laughs, a whole lot of drama and adventure, but still portrays the element of friendship perfectly.

The Toy Story 4 Cast

The cast features many of the same voice cast members that we have came to love, such as Tom Hanks, Woody Allen, Annie Potts and Joan Cusack.

The Soundtrack will be provided by Randy Newman.

One of the newcomers in the film is the director, John Cooley.

Toy Story 4 Plot

Following their parting with Andy, the gang has started a new life with a young girl named Bonnie.

One day Bonnie brings back a new “toy” named Forkie.

Forkie is made out of a spork (spoon and fork) and at first doesn’t believe that he is destined to be a toy.

As a result, he runs away and of course, sheriff Woody follows him and shows him what it means to be a toy.

There is a further twit to the tale as Woody himself is tempted by the prospect of living a free life outside of Bonnie’s room.

This storyline contains a number of heart-warming moments which will make you fall in love with Toy Story all over again.

Toy Story 4 Release date

The film is set to be released on 21 June 2019. For South Africa, it should land not much than a week later.
