Top performing Pepps Polokwane learner Boitumelo Matjena wows SA with 7 distinctions

Pepps Polokwane top performing matriculant, Boitumelo Matjena reveals how she received seven distinctions in her subjects.

BOITUMELO MATJENA: SEVEN DISTINCTIONS
Capricorn FM reports that matriculant Boitumelo Matjena has been announced as the class of 2023’s top matric learner at PEPPS school in Polokwane after receiving seven distinctions in all her subjects.
The Limpopo-based radio station adds that grade 12 learners at the Polokwane Preparatory School and College achieved a 100% pass rate in the Independent Examination Board results in 2023. 91% of the grade 12 learners achieved a bachelor’s degree pass at the school.
The 18-year-old revealed in her interview that having a good support structure helped her excel in her academics and sports and she never left anything for the last minute.

PLANS FOR TOP PERFOMING MATRICULANT
The Polokwane top performing matriculant, Boitumelo Matjena also reveals that she plans to study medicine at University of Cape Town.
She adds that she’s always wanted to excel and her exceptional results were achieved through dedication, hard work and a lot of support from her loved ones.
EWN reports that another top performing matric learner, Melissa Muller from Rhenish High School in Stellenbosch has taken first place in the 2023 NSC results.
Muller revealed she wants to study Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch in 2024 and added she knew she was among the top achievers in the class of 2023.
