Peeps dragged for purposefully dropping iPhones in ice bucket

A group of partygoers have been slammed online after they shared a video of themselves dropping their iPhones in their drinks ice bucket. The partiers who are visibly intoxicated, appear to be taking advantage of the brands water resistant feature.

Those who have watched the clip have slammed the partiers as uncouth. Many said that they would never do the same, water proof phones or not.

SA slams partiers who put their iPhones in an ice bucket

iPhone is one of many cellphones that come with a water resistant feature that helps users in the case of water accidents.

It is common knowledge that the phone is sufficiently protected if it falls in water by mistake. This must be why one group of friends decided to put their expensive phones to the test.

In a TikTok video that has received millions of views, the friends who appear to be at a nightclub for a night out of drinking and dancing, put their phones inside a full ice buck on the table.

The clip shows how the phones stay on even while submerged in ice and water. The friends also appear to love watching it and laugh with joy each time a phone goes in.
