South African Twitter users have reacted in shock, fear, and even disgust to a video clip of a woman seeming swallowing a snake.

SOUTH AFRICANS DISTURBED BY SNAKE WOMAN

The video was reposted by celebrity blogger Musa Khawula. He tweeted of the clip: “An evening night out in Johannesburg”.

In it, a woman is seen pushing a Boa Constrictor snake down her throat. The video is seemingly taken in a club and is set to the tune of an amapiano track. The provocatively-dressed woman smiles seductively at the camera and she caresses – and manhandles – the snake, before twerking to a crowd gathered around her.

But tweeps were not impressed by the daredevil stunt.

@Simon__Sayyss: “My eyes have seen too much. I don’t think I’ll ever kiss a girl again!”

@ApplezNomhi: “Women are fearless God should have press refresh on us after Eve”

@AlmightyGrizz: “This is Eve when Adam wasn’t looking”

@therealxolo: “Haibo! Imagine seeing a snake in a grove”

@fumbanele: “At this rate, a new virus will be announced soon”

One tweep even accused the snake woman of sinister actions.

@JackySelebi: “Most people who have snakes have sold their souls to the devil for the love of money”

WHO IS THE WOMAN IN THE VIDEO?

Contrary to Musa Khawula’s claims, the video is not from Johannesburg, and neither is the woman.

The “snake swallowing performance” is actually from 2017 and is performed by Jade Dolly, a US “camgirl”.

The woman has performed several times with a snake but has seemingly given up the daring serpent show to take up cosplay instead. “No animals were harmed”, she said after reposting the video on her Instagram account.
