On Sunday 15 October, the Springboks will be facing off against France in a Rugby World Cup quarterfinal match. The match is highly anticipated among fans who want nothing more than for South Africa to bring the cup home again.

In light of this, one huge Springbok supporter and local comedian Rory Petzer has headed online to share some funny but important tips to make sure supporters are on their A-game on match day.

Fan shares tip top advice on being a good Bok supporter

The much anticipated quarterfinal match has finally arrived and Springbok fans are over the moon with excitement.

The Springboks will be facing off against France and the players for the match have already been listed and thoroughly scrutinised by social media users who have shared their thoughts.

In the meantime, one super fan has left many tickled pink after he shared a video of himself giving supporters tips on how best to support the country’s national team on match day.

Wearing his Springbok shirt and obviously ready for action, Rory Petzer said in the video that fans should avoid any form of bad news in order not to dampen their moods.

This includes not watching SA TV favourite, Carte Blanche.

He also said that fans should avoid day-drinking so as to avoid having the late night hangover when it is actually time to start supporting the team.

In the comment section, many gave his advice a thumbs up, some reminded him to give Eskom a warning about load shedding as well.

Hilariously, Carte Blanche was also in the comment section asking why shots were being fired.
