R80k restaurant bill divides friends

Enjoying a night out with those closest to us always seems fun but a big bill at the end of the evening can definitely put a damper on things.

This was definitely the case for a group of friends who all went out to celebrate their friend’s birthday.

It was all fun and games until a $4,600 bill was brought to the table.

In a TikTok clip that has gone viral, the group argues about how the bill should be split. While one person argues that they only want to pay for what they ate, another says everyone should pay an equal amount.

This suggestion quickly upsets another member of the group who points out that they didn’t drink any alcohol and shouldn’t have to pay for it.
