Remember your childhood friend Waldo of the Where’s Waldo series? Well, a new Instagram account called WallyFound is now brings the striped fella to your newsfeed. Pretty neat huh?
The account, WallyFound features some creative photographs which showcases a Waldo lookalike. The creator of the new photo series only goes by the name Wally and creates art in a new, quirky way.
The photographer, who is based in London, told Mashable:
“I wanted to create art and improve my skills, so Instagram seemed the perfect place as I consider it one of the few (if not the only) social media that inspires you to meet new people in real life, while many other platforms do the opposite.”
Wally has also taken it a step further by launching a GoFundMe campaign which will feature a Wally Calendar of his best photos. The money raised will eventually help with the funding of children’s cancer research.
He hopes to have the calendars ready by the holiday season for he knows some children are spending their Christmas fighting for their lives. “I want to make my part and bring a fairer world to them,” Wally said.
