Fun facts about the cat door invention
Isaac Newton, a renowned scientist, is primarily known for his groundbreaking work on gravity.
Apart from his scientific achievements, there is a belief that Newton also invented the cat door.
According to How Stuff Works, Newton faced constant interruptions from his cats scratching at the door while conducting experiments at the University of Cambridge.
To address this, Newton called a carpenter from Cambridge to create two holes in the door.
These holes are apparently still visible at the University of Cambridge to this day.
