SPCA seeking help in locating animal cruelty suspect after cat threatened with knife – WARNING
Following a report of animal cruelty, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA has urged the public to assist with any information.

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA is currently investigating a case of animal cruelty and possible contraventions of the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962 involving a Facebook post in which a cat is held by the neck and threatened with a knife.

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA has urged the public to assist with any information.

The image in question was uploaded to Facebook by Jayden Faans – and the Cape of Good Hope SPCA in urgently seeking his whereabouts for questioning.
According to his Facebook page, Faans claims to be a ‘Facebook comedian’.

If you know Jayden Faans and are able to provide the SPCA with any information on his whereabouts, home address, work address or telephone number, you are urged to call (021) 7004158/9 or 083 3261 604.
Reports can be made anonymously and the SPCA will never reveal the name of a complainant.
