How do dogs get lice?
Dogs can contract lice by coming into contact with another infected dog, which can occur in various places like dog parks, kennels, pet stores, or shows.
Lice don’t jump like fleas; instead, they move from one host to another by crawling.

After they infest a new host, they begin reproducing, with female lice laying eggs next to the hair follicle shaft.
