Waiter tipped R1000 on R8000 bill despite ‘bad service’
A patron reveals she tipped a waiter R1000 on her R8000 bill despite the fact that she ‘didn’t receive great service’ at the restaurant.
A patron recently shared her bill of R8338 on social media and reveled that she tipped the waiter R1000 despite the fact that she wasn’t pleased with the service.

PATRON TIPS WAITER R1000
The social media user @seaynoh revealed on X that even though the food at the restaurant wasn’t great, the waiter received R1000.
Though the bill shows the waiter received R833.80 and the customer spent R8338 on food and drinks at the South African restaurant, the social media user said the waiter got R1000.
“More than that, the waitron got actually R1000. I took the bill mangithi, ay man there’s something not adding. Angisakhulumi with overcooked prawns, my favourite chicken livers runish (runny).”
“Lapho they take their precious time. Unyaka ulinde order mxm,” (you wait a whole year for your order) tweeted @seaynoh.
