A KwaZulu-Natal man is topping trends after sharing a TikTok video canoeing in the flooded streets of Ladysmith after recent floods.

Over 70 people had to be evacuated in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, after heavy rains recently caused flash floods in the central business district and nearby areas.

Several people were evacuated to several community halls dotted around Ladysmith, and confirmed reports have it that disaster management teams are monitoring the situation.

However, against the floods, an unknown man resorted to humour to cope with the recent floods. Social media was abuzz after a TikTok user @sazi9404 decided to have a little fun with a canoe in the flooded central business district.
