A few years ago, a South African couple went viral after their KFC proposal was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). While Tweeps initially mocked the man over the proposal, many big companies started offering to donate stuff toward their wedding. It would appear the couple have become trendsetters and have inspired a lot of other couples to go for fast food joint proposals.

Another couple has gone viral this week for their RocoMamas proposal.

While most couples love being over the top when it comes to engagement proposals not everyone can afford to go all out with candles, roses and an expensive dinner.

Over the years, fast food restaurants have become a popular location for proposals. Especially after the KFC couple went viral and received so many free goodies.

Another couple has gone viral after the man decided to ask the love of his life to marry him in a RoccoMamas restaurant.
