Gordon Ramsay might be one of the most world famous chefs, but what does the man do when he’s given an ostrich egg and told to scramble it? Viewers found out exactly this as part of the show Uncharted, as he met up with Chef Zola Nene to cook up an ostrich egg.

Here’s a video of the chef appearing on local soil as part of a series, and just what he decided to do with one of the biggest eggs he’s ever seen.
Gordon Ramsay scrambles OSTRICH EGG
Ostrich eggs aren’t common in the UK, but they are a common staple for many South Africans who live in Ostrich-territory.
If you’re used to chicken eggs, then an ostrich egg is going to be something to get used to. No, an ostrich egg doesn’t taste exactly like that from a chicken – and it’s going to take some more time and/or skill to cook it properly.

As part of the show Uncharted, Gordon made a trip to Southern Africa with chef Zola Nene.
Also trying out a traditional South African braai, Gordon does his best to cook up a storm with the given ingredient: ostrich egg.
