With Easter just a few days away, it’s time to get baking and cooking for the feast you’ll be having with your family. One of the most popular treats you see on shelves and snack tables are traditional hot cross buns. These spiced bread rolls are soft on the inside with their iconic quartered shapes made in the golden crust on top.

If you enjoy baking, you’ll enjoy this simple bread recipe and you can choose how many raisins you want with your buns. They add to the flavour and texture of the buns while also looking great on the snack table. Serve them with a thick spread of butter and maybe some jam and whipped cream for the tastiest results.
