There’s always a need for a snack while having your favourite cup of coffee or tea with a friend. One of the most popular options is always a scone with some jam for sweetness or cheese for a bit of savoury flavour. This South African farm-style scones recipe is very tender and fluffy, making you the hero of tea time when you bring these out.
Making scones is quite hands-on and is the perfect recipe to make with a family member. The recipe uses ingredients you have at home and will be soft and fluffy on the inside while they have a golden coating. Break them open and top with your choice of strawberry or cherry jam with whipped cream, or go savoury with some butter and cheese.
