When you watch your favourite cooking shows and see the chefs make all kinds of desserts with surprises, you always wonder if you can do it yourself, right? Well, you can make something surprising this winter with a warm self-saucing chocolate pudding. It’s a simple chocolate pudding that you can make for your family and watch them get excited as their spoons dive in so that they can have a big bite.

The chocolate pudding is simple to make and the sauce is put on top, but the trick happens when the chocolate pudding rises and the sauce sinks in, but doesn’t fully absorb. This is why you need to serve it warm with a dollop of whipped cream and watch them giggle with excitement as you do the same. It’s rich, sweet and a beautiful winter dessert.
